Abstract

In the past year, Large Language Model (LLM) technology has garnered significant attention and demonstrated a multitude of potential applications. In this presentation, I will delve into the practical implementation of LLM technology within a Big Tech enterprise, utilizing a startup-like process. I will outline the methodology for evaluating the suitability and feasibility of various projects, and discuss the challenges encountered along the way, as well as the innovative solutions devised to overcome them. This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of how LLM technology can be effectively integrated to enhance corporate productivity, showcasing real-world examples of its successful deployment.

Bio.

Dr. Yu-Kai (Kyle) Huang is a Technical Manager at MediaTek. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University. Dr. Huang specializes in lean startup methodologies, wireless networks, telecommunications, cloud computing, and digital transformation for enterprises. His career encompasses roles as a startup entrepreneur, managerial positions in large corporations, and significant contributions in corporate research divisions. Notably, he served as the CTO of Shalom Inc. Dr. Huang has been recognized as the best employee at Samsung Electronics and has received the Outstanding Paper Award from Hon Hai Research Institute.
