 abstract:

With the rapid growth of social networking websites and applications, there are large amount of data aggregated, especially "Social Data". Nowadays, people are focusing on extracting useful information from the social data, such as users' interaction and relationship, users' behavior, users' opinions, etc. These information are considered can be used for many applications, such as Marketing, Service Science, as well as Prediction. In this talk, I will therefore provide a brief introduction to social networks and opinion analysis, from data collection, data transformation to social networks analysis methodology. I will also discuss possible applications of social networks analysis and demo some interesting opinion analysis systems at the end of this talk.
