Topic: Change for Good: Design Technology for Aspiring Behavior
Date : 13:20~15:00 Wednesday 11 Nov. 2015
Place : 105 Delta Building
Abstract:
Designing technology for aspiring behavior aims to find a better way to help people to direct their hopes or ambitions towards achieving the most common but difficult goals of life – to live more healthy, happy, fulfilled, harmony, and peaceful, amongst others. The vision is simple, but aspiring long-term behavior change is incredible difficult task. In this talk I’ll discuss how we might apply psychology, cognition, behavioral science and economics, and technology in the design process to create behavioral change systems and behavioral platform for people to adapt to act for better life. Some design practices will be shown. Challenges and future possibilities will be discussed at the end of this talk.
