Abstract

In this talk, Chih-Yuan Chung will discuss the current state and future of the game industry, as well as the process of creating a game and the challenges faced by game developers. He will also share insights into the daily work of game software engineers and the importance of software thinking in this field.

Bio.

Alvin Chung is the CTO and Chairman of Rayark, a game development company he co-founded in 2011. He earned both his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, where he developed a keen interest in software engineering and game development.  He has led a team of 50+ talented software engineers to create several popular game titles, which have been downloaded over 130 million times. Rayark has become a major player in Taiwan's game industry, employing over 300 people. He and his partners continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in the gaming industry, delivering top-quality experiences to millions of players around the world.
