Abstract
Laboratory of Fragrance & Perfume (LFP), founded in 2015, specializes in integrating perfume design with human olfactory behavior and preference through a multidisciplinary approach. In Taiwan, the fragrance market has traditionally been dominated by established luxury brands, making it difficult for newcomers to gain traction. To overcome this, LFP has adopted large language models to augment human decision-making and streamline information capture, enabling programmers and service designers to address key challenges such as AI agent orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, and UI/UX workflow. In today’s presentation, we will share our development experiences and the lessons learned from applying these technologies in our fragrance design process.
