Abstract
Cancer and heart diseases have been the top killers worldwide for several years. Often, it is too late to start treatment when the diseases are detected. Therefore, early detection is key to preventing death or disability. DeepRad.AI aims to develop various screening software for diseases, including DeepLung-CAC for the lung, heart, and bone, and DeepBrain-Cognito for the brain. However, there is still a long way to go from the research stage to the market. AI models require assembly with an interactive interface that allows users to implement them.
Bio.
Steven Yao-I Tseng is an AI Engineer with a master’s degree in Computing Science and Artificial Intelligence from Birkbeck, University of London. Following his graduation, Steven joined the Big Data Research Centre at Taipei Medical University, where he worked under the guidance of Professor Sandy Cheng-Yu Chen.
Recently, Steven has joined DeepRad.AI, a medical AI software startup spun off from TMU, as an AI engineer. In addition to working on AI algorithm research, Steven is also involved in drafting Quality Management Systems (QMS), risk management, and information security management with the legal team.
All faculty and students are welcome to join.
