Abstract
The general processor is moving slower and slower. Everyone is talking about the Post of Moore’s law. And lots of people are working on new semiconductor processing, architecture and system to extend the Moore’s law. We, Baidu, the biggest search engine in China, have been exploring new architectures on the data center level to accelerate emerging applications. These architectures and relative systems have been deployed in real data center on large scale and served the AI and big data applications for years.
Bio
Jian Ouyang, Baidu’s principle architect. He leads the data center architecture team to build the non-traditional architecture and system for emerging applications, especially AI and big data. He is interesting in computer architecture, distributed system and hardware-software co-design system. He has authored or co-authored several papers on ASPLOS, HOTCHIPS, EUROSYS, ISLPED, etc.
